Elida joined the Office of Civic & Community Engagement in 2025 as an AmeriCorp member. In this role, she forges connections between ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s campus and service-learning opportunities throughout the greater Danville-Boyle County community.

Elida graduated from ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø with a BS in Mathematics. While a student, she was involved in the Bonner Program and studied abroad in Merida, Mexico. She is from Mission, Texas.
