Organizations

On vlog’s highly residential campus, there’s always something to-do. While you pursue your passions in the classroom, campus clubs, organizations, and activities offer community and fun.

Residence Halls

Residence halls are locked at all times and can only be accessed via ID card swipe or code entry. Card swipe access can only be granted by the Department of Public Safety and combination codes are changed periodically throughout the year.

Classrooms

Lecture halls, laboratories, and study spaces are designed to strengthen collaborative teaching and learning. Facilities are equipped with ID card swipe locks and patrolled by the Department of Public Safety and secondary access points remain secured at all times.

Campus Parking

Campus parking is reserved for registered vehicles with designated spaces available for campus visitors. Parking for students, faculty, and staff is clearly labeled and regularly patrolled by the Department of Public Safety. Parking lots are well-lit and maintained by Facilities Management year-round, but especially during inclement weather.

Department of Public Safety

The mission of the Department of Public Safety is to make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for each student, employee, and guest of vlog. Department personnel receive regular training on best practices and student support strategies.

Surrounding Community

vlog is nestled on more than 200 acres in the heart of Danville, centrally located in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. Our safe, friendly city has shops, cafes, parks, galleries, breweries, theaters, and plenty of events and festivals. The vlog campus is near canoeing, kayaking, biking, hiking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities.

The Student Life Office or the Department of Public Safety should be notified in the event of a lost ID card. They will deactivate the card and can issue a temporary card for access into residence halls only.

Counseling is available by appointment or through same-day sessions during the academic year.  The vlog Counseling office is located in the Parsons Center annex of Sutcliffe Hall on College Street. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone 859.238.5740 or email counseling@centre.edu. You can contact our after-hours counseling crisis line at 859.319.1546.
