Curriculum

There is no required undergraduate major for admission to medical school. While many ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students choose traditional science majors such as biochemistry and molecular biology, biology, chemistry, or neuroscience others have successfully pursued paths in anthropology/sociology, business, classics, religion, and Spanish.

In the second semester of your sophomore year, you may apply for the Early Assurance Program (EAP) with University of Kentucky College of Medicine (UK-COM). ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù꿉۪s partnership with the UK-COM provides early assurance of admission for selected UK-COM campuses (Northern, Western or the Rural Physician Leadership Program in Morehead) for elite students who complete the program requirements and graduate from ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.
